Phil Stockton

Principal and Founder

Hi, I’m Phil Stockton, the Principal and Founder of TechGen Financial and The Lifestyle of Your Dreams. My mission in life is to help families reach financial independence while living the Lifestyle they have always dreamed of. I worked for many years in the fast-paced world of high technology startups, helping the few innovative founders make their millions while I earned a paycheck. When I finally made my career change, I decided to focus on helping families build and maintain the wealth they would need to live the way they chose to live.

The one thing that kept me sane through all of the ups and downs that start-ups go through was the knowledge that the financial plan that my advisor and I had put together accounted for the volatile career I was in. This is the foundation of my practice: I help families take control of their finances by building a sound financial strategy to take them from where they are today to financial independence.

Financial independence means different things to different families and sometimes even to different members of a family. To some it means being able to retire by age 55 with enough income to live comfortably for the rest of their lives, to others it may mean working into their 70s in order to build up a large enough nest egg to pass a sizeable inheritance to their children and grandchildren. The most important aspect of financial planning is to determine what YOUR definition of financial independence is. Saving just to save is not a goal!

So, if you are ready to take charge of your finances and begin to build towards your personal and family goals, give me a call to schedule your first appointment and take that First Step towards the Lifestyle of Your Dreams.
